1. Nature of Our Services

EverLegacy provides bespoke legal-style documents, including wills, created specifically to your instructions and personal information.

Because our services are custom-made and personalised, different rules apply compared to standard online purchases.

2. Right to Cancel (Before Work Starts)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase only if work has not yet started.

You may cancel and receive a full refund if:

You notify us within 14 days of purchase, and

We have not yet begun drafting or preparing your will.

3. No Refund Once Work Has Commenced

Once we have started work on your bespoke will, your right to cancel and receive a refund ends.

Work is considered to have commenced when any of the following occurs:

You submit completed instructions or personal details;

We begin drafting your will;

You receive a draft or preliminary document.

This is because the service is bespoke and made to your specification, and therefore falls under the exemption in the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

4. Cooling-Off Period Waiver

By placing an order and submitting your information, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are requesting us to begin work within the 14-day cooling-off period, and

You understand that once work begins, you lose your right to cancel and receive a refund.

5. Amendments and Revisions

If you require reasonable amendments to your will based on the original instructions provided, these will be handled in line with the service package you selected.

Refunds are not issued for change of mind, additional revisions, or personal circumstances changing after drafting has begun.

6. Errors or Service Issues

If you believe there has been an error in your document that does not reflect the information you supplied, please contact us promptly.

We will:

Review the issue, and

Correct genuine errors caused by us at no additional cost.

This does not apply to changes requested due to new instructions or changed circumstances.
